CAMBRIDGE, Mass., June 4, 2013 – Infinio, inventor of downloadable storage performance, today revealed that it is the “secret company” sponsoring the upcoming Tech Field Day 9 in Austin, Texas. Infinio’s presentation on June 20 will be the company’s first public demo, featuring the soon-to-be-released Infinio Accelerator, a software-only solution to NAS performance in virtualized environments.
“This is the perfect audience for us to debut our pre-release product,” said Arun Agarwal, Infinio co-founder, and CEO. “We look forward to getting valuable feedback from this group of virtualization and storage experts before we release later this year.”
Thirteen carefully selected delegates will see an exclusive live demo from Infinio Director of Product Management Peter Smith. Recordings of the demo will publically available the week of June 24.
Infinio is developing software to address the most expensive bottleneck in virtual environments: storage performance. Unlike other products that require SSDs or flashcards to accelerate NAS performance, Infinio offers a true software-only solution for maintaining acceptable storage performance as virtualized environments scale.
Infinio Systems, Inc. is building solutions that improve the NAS data storage performance of virtualized environments. Based in Cambridge, Mass., the company enjoys strong financial backing from tier-one venture capitalists including Highland Capital Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
